Turkey Sausage Meatballs...

This is one of my favorite things to make. We have used them in spaghetti, sandwiches, salads, greek bowls, for breakfast. They really are delicious and versatile. So, I wanted to share this recipe with you. I am also the worst and don't really measure all the time (I get it from my mama).


1 lb ground turkey

1 lb ground sausage (we like hot or sweet italian)

2 eggs

1 cup Italian bread crumbs

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

1/8 cup minced onion

Pepper, salt, Italian seasoning (all to taste..I go heavy on pepper and Italian seasoning)

First, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Get out your pan and line it with foil (I do this for an easy clean up).

You take all of your ingredients and put them in a bowl. Then you wash your hands, take off any jewelry and get in there! Yes, I mix this with my hands to ensure it all is mixed well and evenly. Once it is mixed to your heart's desire, roll golf ball sized balls up and put on a foil lined pan that is lightly greased (I go super light on the PAM, the meat will create its own grease too).

Once all of your meatballs are formed, pop them in the oven for 20 minutes. Rotate them and put them back in for 7.

Enjoy with pasta, on a salad, in a meatball sub, or alone! They are super tasty, easy to make and 2.5 meatballs is a source of protein on my meal plan. I usually put half in a freezer bag for another time, and put half in a sealed Pyrex bowl in my fridge. Be sure to enjoy within 5 days for the best taste. Look at how good they look!
